my life is an adult ed program.

I don't know how it happened, or what "path" i was looking to go down but i have succeeded in getting jobs that look like they should be included in the course listings for the adult ed programs at the local college. I am being paid money to learn how to do things other people pay money to learn how to do... interesting. (please excuse the quality of the photos, my phone is good for many things, image capturing is not one of them) Job #1 I process fiber at a spinnery.I know people who go to workshops to learn how to sort fiber, learning the attributes of different breeds and learning how to tell the strengths and weakness of fiber. More people still pay quite a bit of money to learn how to dye using plant and animal based dyes (all natural) well, i am BEING paid to learn it. i love it. love love love it. Job #2 Chocolatieroh, chocolate. people love you and even more people would take a class to learn how to make you. bitches. i make chocolate too. (not the old fashioned way, but still...)

Job #3
bread baker
I don't have a picture of the bread... but i do have a picture of the nasty burn that i got on the HUGE oven.

So, i am learning how to make / shape bread. I really enjoy it and I think i might be good at it (we will see but i did get a compliment from my boss)

so, as you can see, my life is an adult ed course offering. I just need to learn how to throw pottery and possibly weld and i can open my own workshop center!

oh wow. this is hilarious and so true. when are you going to start making your own jewelry/opening your own printing press to publish local artists? and welding.

maybe you could give a week long intensive in photography...i'll set up a dark room for you.

The printing press will come soon. but i'm really excited about the jewelry. I mean, we know how i feel about silver.
