last weekend i put in a load of laundry and went to hang out with Tamara.
When i got home i remembered about my wash and went to transfer it to the dryer. When i opened the washing machine door i saw the earphones to my little ipod shuffle on top of a HUGE mass of wet clothes. Hmm, i thought, that's odd. How did those get in there? Then i remembered that i had my ipod in my back pocket of the jeans i just washed....Fuck. So i rummaged through the clothes, found the ipod and pouted. What was I going to do now? I put the clothes in the dryer and went upstairs with my moist electronic device. I thought, i'm gonna plug this thing in and see if it works. It didn't work, obviously. The week has come and gone with my ipod sitting on my desk kind of brushed aside and almost abandoned...but not really. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. Tonight when i was playing on the internet i looked over at my sad little ipod, reached over, picked it up and plugged it into my computer. and it worked. The light came on and now i'm listening to it. It is fine, just cleaner.

I don't advise washing your ipod, but if you do don't worry too much about it. Let it dry and in a week it will work.
